Have been using AWWA period undies for years. Some heavier days a pad is required and these maxi pads are great.

While I think the period knickers are great, they do cause a thick VPL so these reusable pads are perfect to wear with regular underwear
Absolutely love these pads! I've had a lot of issues with side leakage from the period underwear, but no such problem with these pads as a result of the wings. Plus, I can wear my regular breathable underwear while using these pads and don't end up with a sweaty bum on warm days, like I do with the period underwear. I found the absorbency of these pads to be excellent, even with heavy flow. Personally, I prefer to use these during the day and period underwear at night for the extra coverage. Would happily buy again!

How do I wash reusable pads?
Simply rinse in cool water after use, then machine wash and dry with your regular laundry. Avoid the use of bleach or fabric softener as these additives can inhibit absorbency and decrease the lifespan of your pads.
How often do I need to change my pad?
Change your pad at least once a day, and about as often as you would change a disposable pad. Thanks to AWWA's enhanced absorbency, you may find you can go longer between changes than you could with disposables.
How are AWWA pads different from liners?
AWWA pads and liners both feature a soft, wicking organic cotton top layer that feels just like your underwear. Liners are great for spotting or everyday leaks, while our pads have an additional super-absorbent core that makes them suitable for moderate to heavy flow.
