Was a last 'mum' thought before my teen went on her sailing trip (which involved swimming daily) was getting her period and AWWA saved the day with great service (delivery in 1-2 days)and happy teen to be involved with daily water activities. Great product also.
Great quality, works well for my 11 year old. Service was superb too, received the day after ordering even though it came from the south island. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the cut is quite high in the legs / across the bottom for a young girl, my daughter would have preferred something slightly more modest, especially feeling self conscious with her period at a young age.
I was so excited to find cute swimsuit bottoms for my daughter who was requesting a pair that were high waisted and had the bonus of being period safe! The waist on the 3xs is tiny (just right for my petite 11 year old) though the legs are a bit big on her now. Luckily we’re not at the point that she needs them to fit snugly quiet yet- so we’ll have to update this once she gets to test them when her period starts… but she feels confident going forward that when she gets to that stage she won’t have to stay out of the water when it’s her time of the month which is just incredible! So much better than what my friends and I grew up with!
